Centennial chiropractor, Dr. Nelson, is a nationally board certified chiropractor with 17 years of combined experience working with patients as a chiropractor and a musculoskeletal specialist. Tim is a graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic. Dr. Nelson has a diverse range of knowledge and techniques, which allow him to address a variety of both spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. He believes in using a multitude of hands-on techniques, utilizing his background as both a Centennial chiropractor, CMT, and licensed acupuncturist to provide pain relief, proper spinal alignment, and restoration of whole body health.

Michael Stofan, MSPT, Physical Therapist
Mike is a licensed physical therapist with 13 years of experience. He is a graduate of Ithaca College in New York, where he earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Physical Therapy degrees. Mike stresses the use of hands-on work to treat a variety of sports related injuries, automobile related problems, and common aches and pains. He works alongside our chiropractors and with our acupuncturist to develop customized treatment plans for our patients. He is also knowledgeable in the specific rehabilitation stretches and exercises necessary for full recovery following surgery.

Dr. Paul Marmalick, DC, ATC
Doctor of Chiropractic, Athletic Trainer Certified
Dr. Paul is a graduate of the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and has been a part of Heritage Health as a Centennial chiropractor since 2007. A native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Dr. Paul moved to Colorado right out of school due to the desire of people to get healthy and stay healthy. While finishing college, Dr. Paul had the opportunity to work in Vail, Colorado, working with elite athletes and their sports injuries. In addition to his Chiropractic degree, Dr. Paul is also a certified athletic trainer, ATC, performing his undergraduate work at Northern Michigan University and has been in the medical field for the past 12 years. He has worked with high school and collegiate athletes in all sports, as well as Olympic athletes while interning at The United States Olympic Education Center. Dr. Paul has seen the firsthand benefits of combining Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Acupuncture as well as proper nutrition and exercise. He utilizes nutrition and natural, high grade supplements to help facilitate care with his patients. Dr. Paul combines a number of Chiropractic techniques with his background in sports medicine to encompass a whole body and natural approach to healthcare.

Robbin Tallow (licensed acupuncturist)

Robbin Tallow received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado. She is also board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate in Acupuncture, encompassing acupuncture, Chinese herbology, and traditional Chinese medical theory. Upon graduation, Robbin continued her Chinese medical studies at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China. During her internship in China, she was able to go to many departments of the university hospital including tui na, acupuncture, internal medicine, gynecology and the Famous Doctors Clinic. In addition, she holds the title of licensed acupuncturist by the state of Colorado. Robbin is also a licensed massage therapist in the state of Colorado. She received her Certificate from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2003. Away from the office, Robbin enjoys spending time with her family, beadwork, hiking, and practicing tai chi.
Ava Amescua, L.Ac., Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Massage Therapist
Ava is both an Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist here at Heritage Health. Ava has been a massage therapist for five years, graduating from Heritage College in 2009 with an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy. She was drawn to massage to pursue her passion for helping others. Ava practices a variety of techniques including relaxation, deep tissue, sports, massage, prenatal, trigger point, Trager, neuromuscular release and more. Having worked in chiropractic offices has allowed Ava to excel at deep tissue and rehabilitative types of massage to treat a wide variety of conditions. Ava continued her education by earning her Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in August 2014. This four-year program consists of 2,850 hours of education including 795 hours of clinical practice. Ava’s training includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, tui na, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. Ava is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in August 2014. This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique and Chinese Herbology. Ava is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado. She is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado. Because Of Ava's experience and education in both acupuncture and massage therapy, she is able to provide all of her patient's with individualized care during each treatment utilizing the best from both fields.
