Chiropractic Office in Centennial, CO: Meet the Heritage Health Team!
Michael Stofan, MSPT, Physical Therapist
Mike graduated from Ithaca College in New York in 2000, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Physical Therapy degrees. He entered the field after going through physical therapy himself for a variety of injuries. Because of his personal experience with PT after rotator cuff surgery, elbow surgery, ankle fractures, joint dislocations, and a total hip replacement, Mike works differently than most other physical therapists. He utilizes what worked for him when he was a patient. This includes the use of manual therapy and hands-on techniques, not just exercises and stretches. This hands-on approach produces great results, and is a necessary component to any physical therapy treatment plan, in Mike s opinion. He is also knowledgeable in the specific rehabilitation stretches and exercises necessary for full recovery and incorporates these into the overall care plan for his patients. He works alongside our chiropractor, dry needling specialist, and massage therapist to develop customized treatment plans for each individual patient. Due to his personal experience with so many musculoskeletal problems, when you come in for physical therapy with Mike, you can be assured that he does know how it feels , because he has been in your shoes.
